As the Managing Director and Founder of Jupiter Contracting Co. LLC, I, K. V. G. Nair, bring over 41 years of experience in the construction industry in the UAE to the table. As a civil engineer, I possess a wealth of knowledge in the areas of drainage, sewerage, and water line installations. My managerial skills are rooted in my in-depth understanding of the various functions within the construction industry, having held notable roles such as Engineer, Sub-Agent, and Senior Site Agent with Lilley International Co. With over four decades of experience in the construction industry, I am pleased to have begun my career at Lilley International in 1978. During my tenure there, I held the role of Site Engineer and was responsible for overseeing a variety of drainage and water supply projects. Some of my notable accomplishments include the successful completion of a 12 million gallon water reservoir in Rashidiya, Dubai, the construction of a Marina in Abu Dhabi, the development of a new jetty and slipway boat basin, the construction of power stations in Dhaid and Ajman, and the implementation of the main drainage scheme in Sharjah. After a decade of working at Lilley International, I was promoted to the role of Sub-Agent in 1991 and then to Senior Site Agent for Dubai Municipality Drainage contract DS69/II and DS83/III, Phase 1, 2 and 3. In 1998, I ventured into entrepreneurship and founded Jupiter Contracting Co. LLC, where I currently serve as the Managing Director. As the head of the organisation, my responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including pricing and execution of projects, as well as overseeing all administrative and technical activities of the company.
